STEP Centers

helping people create the life they want and deserve

Services offered in our STEP (Striving Towards Economic Prosperity) Centers encourage people to achieve and sustain self-sufficiency by overcoming barriers to employment, increasing income, and promoting education that leads to economic mobility. Services are provided to residents at our MAAC housing locations and open to community members.

MAAC’s STEP Centers offer centralized, comprehensive services based on a case management and resource navigation model to promote economic mobility. Our Community Resource Navigators (CRNs) are housed at each MAAC property STEP Center or Community Room. Our CRN team will assist residents and community members in accessing resources, education, and support to reach their health, wellness, and economic development needs.
