What is Connect 2 Success?
Connect 2 Success is a youth workforce engagement program that supports 18-24 year old South County residents in obtaining training and certification in the skills needed for gainful employment in one years’ time.
In 2017, San Diego Workforce Partnership reported that 16.5% of young people living in South County San Diego were not enrolled in school and unemployed. The highest youth disconnection rate in the County.
MAAC believes every youth should have opportunities to reach their economic potential.
Connect 2 Success has been designed to support young adults in their pursuit of an education and family-sustaining employment. Connect 2 Success students are provided with holistic support while they attend school and well beyond graduation. The program’s supports and services include individualized guidance and counseling, transportation assistance, tutoring services, and connections to employers.
Our students face many daily challenges, but through Connect 2 Success, they are provided with guided, supportive pathways to life-changing careers and financial success.

AND committed to:
- Finishing high school or have completed high school/GED;
- Enrolling in job training;
- Working with our staff to set and achieve goals;
- Growing through challenges.
You may qualify for the Connect 2 Success Program.
